In the summer of 1996, an idea came to the Bellbrook Community Bank President and Doug Freed at a Wee Eagles football game. The President of Bellbrook Community Bank bought the name Bellbrook.Com and said to Doug “Hey, let’s build a web site that all could go and see what is happening in the community. Wink and Doug began their quest to develop a community web site that would serve the Bellbrook / Sugarcreek Community. Doug, a true marketeer and Internet marketing expert with the support of Bellbrook Community Bank, began to learn more and more about how Bellbrook.Com would be developed and serve the community in the most efficient way. These concepts took many days and nights to determine how it would work and what would be the best solutions. Many solutions worked through the years and many solutions failed but the quest kept moving on.
